Joan Dempsey, a published writer and writing teacher with advanced degrees in both from Antioch University Los Angeles, helps serious creative writers master their craft. Teaching since 2000, Joan also reviews and edits manuscripts for published and emerging writers. Her work has been published in The Adirondack Review, Alligator Juniper, The Citron Review, Plenitude Magazine, Obsidian: Literature in the African Diaspora and has been aired on National Public Radio.
Joan is hosting a free, one-week course online entitled “Revise Your Writing: Where to Begin,” introduced by Jane Friedman. The course starts December 8, 2015 and will teach you how to revise your manuscript in the way that works best for you with no more hesitation, procrastination or feeling overwhelmed.
